Finding the Still Point

I went to a workshop on Saturday that was titled "Finding the Still Point". One should know up front that when a session is only 45 minutes long, finding the still point will be an elusive goal. About the only answer you can get in that amount of time is "meditate".

After the last two days, I am wondering if the still point is an elusive objective in my life right now. It seems that as soon as things settle down in one area, they blow up even worse in another.

At the moment, I am only working three days a week due to a cash crunch at the office. The down side (besides lower pay) is that the work load is still there, but now the stress is greater. Opportunities that should excite me only seem to be "piling on" at the moment.

Time to recall some serenity from months past.
